Faith No More will be part of 'One Night Of Galactic Proportion' on May 22nd at the Banc of California Stadium
On Friday January 31st FNM shared a cryptic image of an astronaut aimlessly floating in space via their Instagram page with the caption 'Monday...', meanwhile at the same time identical images were posted by several other artists.
This post came just a day after Frontier Touring teased that FNM would be returning to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2015 with dates to be publicised on Wednesday 5th February. The press jumped on this coordinated social media assault and began to speculate what announcement was imminent.
We can reveal that Faith No More, System Of A Down, Korn, Helmet and Russian Circles will play a huge concert on May 22nd at the Banc of California Stadium
SOAD have previously toured with Mr. Bungle and are also on the lineup Hellfest 2020 with FNM. Serj Tankian told Artist Direct in 2015, "I love Faith No More and Mike Patton. Patton always pushes boundaries and does something completely different."
Members of Korn have expressed their love of FNM many times, they recently released a cover version of We Care A Lot and in 2000 Mike Bordin filled in for drummer David Silveria. Guitarist Munky Shaffer, who played with Bill Gould in Fear and the Nervous System, told Loudwire in 2015, "They inspired Fieldy and I to start a band and start playing".
Helmet supported FNM on the Angel Dust tour in 1992.
