FAITH NO MORE!

ROCKIN' THE UK IN MARCH!

Frisco Metal stars all set for Brit Spring invasion! LP and single on the way!

Steffan Chirazi

FAITH NO MORE will rock Britain early in '95, with a new album, new single and a full Uk tour!

They kick off on February 27 with the first single (as yet unnamed) from new LP 'King For a Day... Fool For A Lifetime', which follows on March 13. The band then undertake their first UK headline tour since April 1990!

Dates have still to be announced - watch this space for details! - and there is already talk of Summer Festival dates. 'King For A Day...', which was recorded with producer Andy Wallace in New York, is the band's first with new axeman Trey Spruance, who formerly played with FNM frontman Mike Patton in his offbeat project outfit Mr Bungle. Spruance, of course, replaces sacked guitarist Jim Martin, who was shown the door last Christmas.

Kerrang! can exclusively reveal that the track listing for FNM's new LP is as follows:

'Get Out, 'Digging The Grave', 'Evidence', 'Ricochet', 'Star AD', 'Cuckoo For Caca', 'The Velvet Hammer', 'Ugly In The Morning', 'What A Day', 'Take This Bottle', 'The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies', 'Acoustic Groove', 'The Last To Know', 'Just A Man'.

A sneak preview of FNM's fifth LP show it to be a rounder, more 'Rock' sounding record. It is heavy, with lots of fat guitars and a wealth of extremely catchy songs, notably 'The Last To Know' and 'Star AD'. The heaviest, ugliest, most brutal tune is the cacophonous 'Cuckoo For Caca', which emphatically challenges the notion that this band isn't heavy without Jim Martin! The struggle, anger and piss-fighting energies have given way to a more solid, sturdy FNM. More news soon!
